When are nominations due for 2024?
Nominations are due by 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2024. Please click here to nominate.
What are the nomination guidelines?
Each unique nomination is taken into consideration. Judges appreciate a well-composed and thoughtful nomination per individual per category. Please make sure you spell the nominees' name correctly, list what category the nomination if for, and provide contact information for them. Chamber staff would also appreciate the nominators contact information in the event judges need clarifications.
How does the judging work?
Our judging panel will consist of last year’s award recipients. They will be given the nominations by category with nominee names redacted for unbiased scoring.
Who is the 2024 keynote speaker?
This year's keynote speaker will tentatively be given by Rose Washington-Jones, Executive Director for Tulsa Economic Development Corporation
What do selected nominees win?
All nominees for each category will be recognized at the event and receive a commemorative crown pin. 2024 Honorees for each category will be announced at the event and recognized on stage with an Empress Award.
Can I nominate for multiple categories?
If you wish to nominate someone for more than one category, please submit each nomination separately. Last year's honorees are not eligible to be considered for the same category in this year's honors. If someone is nominated for a category that they were honored for last year, this year's nomination will be discarded.
